Join Pam Capland and Dyalekt on Wednesday, April 29 from 6–7:30 PM for a conversation about saving money. What if we told you that the ability to save money has nothing to do with willpower and discipline and everything to do with your relationship to money?

There is no such thing as being good or bad at saving. There is only what makes us feel safe. Some of us find comfort in knowing there is money in the bank, sometimes at the expense of our own actual comfort. Some of us spend money as soon as we get it because having savings doesn’t feel safe (”I may as well spend it on what you want before someone else takes it.”).

You will learn the systemic reasons why it’s hard to save, dispel common savings myths, learn the neuroscience behind money memories, and examine your own relationship with saving or not saving money.
