Baxter St Partners on Professional Development with CreativeStudy
Baxter St is thrilled to partner with CreativeStudy on a year-long series of interactive webinars designed specifically for artists and arts workers. The programs will focus on taxes, intellectual property, working with commercial galleries, and pitching your work for support. The series is possible through the cooperation and collaboration of 11 partnering organizations who joined forces to share professional education resources with all of you!

Zainab Aliyu
Zainab “Zai” Aliyu is a Nigerian-American artist, designer and cultural worker living in Lenapehoking (Brooklyn, NY). Her work explores the cybernetic and temporal entanglements within societal dynamics to understand how all sociotechnological systems of control are interconnected, and how we are all materially implicated through time.

Suniko Bazargarid
Born in Ulaanbaatar, Suniko is a Mongolian photographer who spent her early years in Boston before living in Singapore, Bangkok, and now New York. Her practice is deeply shaped by her nomadic experiences, exploring the complexities of people and places through themes of migration, identity, and the fluidity of memory.

Res Julian
Res Tahan Julian is an artist and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Res graduated with a BA in Sociology and Studio Art from Smith College, an MFA from the Yale School of Art and a post-master’s in curatorial studies from CuratorLab at Konstfack University in Stockholm, Sweden.
