Film Screening: Marvel Harris: Everything Is Now

To commemorate the current exhibition Just Wide Enough To Hold The Weight featuring the work of artists Marvel Harris, Siddhartha Hajra, and Soumya Sankar Bose curated by Phalguni Guliani, Baxter St is excited to present a film screening of director Jessica Villerius’ powerful documentary Marvel Harris: Everything Is Now on Wednesday, May 18th at 6pm ET. This film follows the personal and artistic journey of Marvel Harris.

“I was determined to follow Marvel on this exceptional journey because I am convinced that he can educate and inspire people – others who consider themselves non-binary, and more broadly, anyone who knows someone who may be struggling with gender identity.” — Jessica Villerius

This film will be presented in Dutch with English subtitles.

This exhibition is part of Baxter St’s Guest-Curated Program and is made possible with the support of the Phillip and Edith Leonian Foundation.
