My work engages with the contrast between the natural and unnatural. These photographs communicate falseness while fostering intimacy between the viewer and this detached and problematics digital environment we find ourselves engaged with.
Jackson Hallberg (1993) is an American born artist based in New York City. Working primarily with photography, his works test the integrity and boundaries of image constructs and contrast hyperrealities with banal photographic artifacts. Hallberg holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and also studied at the Spéos Photographic Institute (Paris, FR).
