Allison Davies received her BFA in photography from New York University in 1990 and her MFA from Yale University in 1999. She has exhibited at Sotheby ’s, Silverstein Gallery, Bellwether, and Joyce Goldstein Gallery in New York City; Yale School of Art, A&A Gallery in New Haven, CT; and was included in the 1999 Wight Biennial at the University of California, Los Angeles. Outerland, her first monograph, was published by Charles Lane Press in 2010. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Lorie Novak is an artist and Professor of Photography & Imaging at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and Associate Faculty at the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics. Novak’s photographs, installations, and internet projects have been in numerous exhibitions including ArtSway, Hampshire, England; The International Center for Photography, New York; Center for Creative Photography, Tucson, Arizona; The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.; the Art Institute of Chicago among others. Her photographs are in numerous permanent collections including the Art Institute of Chicago; Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas; Museum of Modern Art, New York; and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Born in Los Angeles, Novak received a B.A. in Art from Stanford University and a MFA from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago. She resides in Brooklyn, New York.
