Anthony Hamboussi

Artist Biography: 

Anthony Hamboussi was born in 1969, has been a recipient of the New York State Council on the Arts Independent Project Grants in 2003 and 2007, the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts Grant in 2008 and was chosen for the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation Studio Program for 2007 – 2008. His work has been exhibited at the Queens Museum, the Americas Society, Princeton University and Arizona State University. He is co–author of ”Long Island City in Context,“ published by Furnace Press, New York, 2005. Hamboussi teaches photography at the International Center of Photography and conducts workshops for teens and children in New York City‘s Housing Projects.
